TRAVEL TIPS
Brownsville Tennessee is a small rural city in West Tennessee. We are 50 miles East of Memphis and approx. 200 miles West of Nashville. We hope these tips will help you navigate the best ways to plan your trip to Tina Turner Heritage Days.
Hotel / Motel
Comfort Inn- Brownsville serves as our host hotel. This is the only inside corridor hotel in Brownsville and located adjacent to the Tina Turner Museum and Delta Heritage Center. To request the special room rate for Tina Turner Heritage Days, you must call the hotel direct, choose front desk option (option 2). Call +1 (731) 734-2676, option 2 (front desk), ask for the “Tina Days” room block and rate. FYI: this rate is not available through general or online reservations, only directly by calling the hotel. Remember, do not choose reservations when you call, choose Option 2 - front desk.

Car Rental
By Car
Brownsville does not have an airport. Closest international airports are Memphis and Nashville. A regional hub is located in Jackson from Atlanta Brownsville does have an Enterprise Car Rental location, but no public transportation ( no Uber, no taxi, no buses).
If flying from the Atlanta area, there is a regional airport in Jackson TN that offers commuter flights to and from your location, as well as rental cars. More details are available on the Fly Jackson TN website. Jackson is approximately a 30 minute drive to Brownsville.
The closest major airport to Brownsville is Memphis International Airport. All the major airlines fly into Memphis and rental cars are available. Memphis is approximately a one hour drive to Brownsville.
Nashville Tennessee is approximately a 2.5 hour drive to Brownsville. The Nashville International Airport also offers services from the major airlines and rental cars.
UBER: Uber Drivers are available from Memphis… but, please be aware that Uber is not available in Brownsville and Memphis Uber drivers will usually not come from Memphis to pick you up. If you plan to be dropped off in Brownsville by an Uber, please communicate with fans/friends you know who are attending and coordinate rides with them. Brownsville does not have public transportation or taxis.
