Born Anna Mae Bullock in Nutbush, a small farming community near Brownsville, Tennessee, the world knew her as Tina Turner.
Every year, fans from across the globe flock to Brownsville to celebrate the Queen of Rock and explore the historic Flagg Grove School, the very schoolhouse where her extraordinary journey began. Step into her world, walk in her footsteps, and experience the soulful charm of Nutbush and Brownsville.

Held the 4th weekend of September, fans gather for Tina fun, including tours of Nutbush and tribute concerts.
Benjamin Brown Flagg sold one acre of land in January 1889 to a group of Trustees charged with the task of building Flagg Grove School.

The Tina Turner Museum, located inside the restored Flagg Grove School, is filled with Tina Turner memorabilia, including costumes from her last tour, gold and platinum record awards and more.
